Deepawali special: How to prepare for Lakshmi worship, 12 useful things

The biggest work on Deepawali is the proper preparation of Mahalakshmi Pujan. Here we have brought for you simple but authentic method of Lakshmi Pujan preparation.

First of all put the statues of Lakshmi and Ganesh on the outpost, facing them in the east or west.

 

Laxmiji, stay to the right of Ganesha.

 

The worshipers sit at the front of the idols.

 

Place the Kalash on the rice near Lakshmiji.

 

Wrap the coconut in a red cloth in such a way that the face of the coconut is visible and keep it on the urn. This urn is the symbol of Varuna.

Place two large lamps. One is of ghee, the other of oil. Place one lamp to the right of the outpost and the other at the feet of the idols. Keep a lamp near Ganeshji.

Put a small cloth on the front of the garrison and put red cloth on it.

 

Make nine heaps symbol of Navagraha on a red cloth with a fistful of rice towards the Kalash.

 

Make sixteen piles of rice towards Ganesha. These are the symbols of the sixteen mother tongues. Make a swastika sign between Navagraha and Heodash Matrika.

 

Place betel nut in the middle and a pile of rice on all four corners.

 

Write ॐ in the middle at the top. In front of the small checkpoint, fill the urn with three plates and water.

 

Arrange the plates as follows- 1. Eleven lamps, 2. Kheel, Batashe, Sweets, Clothing, Jewelry, Sandal paste, Sindoor, Kunkum, Betel nut, Paan, 3. Flowers, Durva, Rice, Cloves, Cardamom, Saffron-camphor , Turmeric-lime paste, aromatic substances, incense, incense sticks, a lamp.
